An Unexpected Fight: A Pediatric Cancer podcast

Our podcast delves into the challenging journey of pediatric cancer, exploring topics such as diagnosis, treatment, fundraising, and addressing common questions. Each episode sheds light on hospital experiences, mental health struggles, and financial hardships. We invite families of pediatric cancer warriors, pediatric oncologists, researchers, representatives from non-profits, and those who have lost children to join us and share their stories. Whether the battle has been won, is ongoing, or ended in loss, we aim to amplify the voices of those affected by pediatric cancer and honor the memories of children who fought bravely.

An ardent advocate for pediatric cancer awareness and the reigning Mrs. Arkansas United States 2024 . Her into advocacy is deeply personal, driven by the loss of her daughter, Nora, to pediatric cancer. This tragedy spurred her to found Princess Nora's Warrior Foundation, now known as Gold Ribbon Kids Cancer Foundation, dedicated to advancing research, support, and innovative treatments for pediatric cancer patients.

Professionally, she is an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner, with over 13 years of experience, this exemplifies her deep commitment to oncology care. Her role extends into her recent position as the Arkansas representative for Exact Sciences, where she focuses on promoting cutting-edge genetic diagnostics and cancer screening tools.

She champions not only cancer awareness but also legislative changes to improve patient care and support.
