Kelly Goddard

My name is Kelly and I began my career as a Registered nurse in 2013. The time I’ve spent working in critical care settings has fostered my passion to help others and advocate for the best possible care for my patients.

Like many of you who are reading this, I too am a caregiver to a child who was diagnosed with cancer. After a week of vomiting, followed by a sudden loss of consciousness, my daughter Riley was diagnosed with cancer at 10 months old.  I am very grateful to share that Riley has been classified as No Evidence of Disease (NED) after several surgeries and multiple rounds of treatment. Having lived this experience, I understand the heartache, despair, and frustration that comes with the diagnosis of childhood cancer.

As NPCF's Healthcare Navigator, I am here to help you understand your child’s diagnosis, provide education, and assist you in finding resources and treatment options that are available.
